We’ll update your vision by performing a refraction to see if you need an updated glasses prescription (refractive error). Binocular vision testing since proper eye alignment is important to help alleviate eyestrain and allow your eyes to work together and see 3D. Screening for ocular disorders such as dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Dilation to view the back area of the eye (the retina) for any moles, freckles, scars, holes or tears. This also helps us view the optic nerve that connects your eye and your brain and well as the blood vessels that may show signs of high blood pressure or diabetes.

The eye is a window to the health of the body so we can see other conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and thyroid disease to name a few. The American Optometric Association advocates comprehensive eye exams for all adults every one to two years as recommended by your eye care provider.
